- Drink lots of water and caffeine-free teas. You should be drinking anywhere from 8 to 12 cups of water a day (even more, if you are an athlete or working out intensely). Do not drink diet sodas. They contain toxins that accumulate in your body and will impair performance over time. Diet sodas also contain chemicals that throw your hormones out of whack.
- Toxins are stored in fat. There are two ways to decrease your fat stores without surgery: diet and exercise. Do both to decrease body fat and decrease the amount of toxins in your body.
